From “The Flow of Pure Ozone to the Continuous Mountain Ridge” The design concept emerges from interpreting the project’s name elements “Air” and “Khao Yai,” where the continuous lines of the mountain ridge, with their overlapping dimensions, transform into flowing roof forms. These roofs rise and fall in distinctive rhythms, with varying folds and overlaps creating unique light wells. This continuous roofscape serves as a distinctive foreground to the existing development behind. “Ozone” or “air” typically evokes gentle, refreshing breezes. To achieve this airy sensation that distinguishes the project, the design incorporates wind corridors between buildings, allowing rooms to capture breezes from multiple directions. These passages also frame views of the Khao Yai mountains, functioning as both ventilation channels and viewing portals that effectively integrate nature with the architecture.
